CCHN’s Purpose & Mission
Our purpose is to support community health and civic well-being by promoting lifelong learning and empowering communities through evidence-informed health education.
Our mission is prevention through awareness and learning, not trends or fear. It grows when communities learn together and share trusted knowledge.

Learn. Prevent. Connect.
We believe change begins small. When one person understands their health better, that knowledge spreads, influences others, and strengthens the whole community. Learning today can shape healthier generations tomorrow.
If you believe communities need better access to health education, we invite you to join us. Check out our resources, take part in learning, or reach out to collaborate. Together, we can help people live healthier lives.

We imagine a world without ageism.
A world where people understand how their bodies and health needs change with age. Where health education reflects the needs of every body, including women’s unique biology.
Where lifestyle-related chronic disease is no longer expected or common.
Where longer lives are healthier lives.
CCHN’s Vision

Land Acknowledgment
CCHN (Curious and Creative Health Network) acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional territories of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Ontario. These lands have long been home to the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and many other Indigenous Nations, and continue to be home to diverse Indigenous communities today.
We recognize the 46 treaties and other agreements that govern these lands, and we acknowledge the historical and ongoing injustices experienced by Indigenous peoples as a result of colonization and systemic inequities.
CCHN is grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and serve on these territories. As a community-based organization, we are committed to building and nurturing respectful, collaborative relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities. We honour the inherent and treaty rights of Indigenous Nations and commit to ongoing learning about the histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.
We recognize the diversity within Indigenous communities and seek to work together on matters of mutual interest. We acknowledge our shared responsibility to care for the land and its resources and to contribute to a more just, inclusive, and equitable future for all.
